With weather like this it’s hard not be be tempted to make your own iced tea at home. At our teashop here at the store, we’re beating the heat with our refreshing iced tea! Here are some tips to consider when making your own at home to assure your iced tea is super flavourful!
1. Always make sure to use more tea than you normally would in your hot beverage! You want to make sure your tea is still bursting with flavour after you’ve added your ice cubes! Make sure not to over steep, but that you’re just adding a larger amount of tea.
2. Add your sugar/sweeteners in with the hot water before you add the ice cubes. (Sugar syrup is excellent to add to both hot and cold tea)
3. The best iced teas are the ones that are fresh! Make enough to last you about 3 days
