It’s no secret that tea is good for you, but certain teas can help specific ailments. Below are just a few of the fantastic and healthy teas we have at Steeped and Infused at AQ!
Digestive Helper: A refreshing and soothing blend of chamomile blossoms, peppermint leaves, yarrow, valerian root, marigold blossoms and lemon balm. Digestive Helper is not only great for after meals, but is a liver and blood detoxifier as well. It is also a great tonic for the digestive tract.
Licorice Soother: A delicious blend of licorice, rose hips, anise, fennel, cornflowers, jasmine flowers, apple cubes and orange peels. This herbal infusion has a high vitamin and mineral content, and is a great tonic for the adrenal glands. It will help to ease those spring allergy symptoms and is also great for a spring cleanse.
Pu-erh: Pu-erh is a true black tea, and is the only tea that is actually aged. It is good for the stomach, aids digestion, reduces blood cholesterol and the side effects of alcohol consumption, and is often referred to as a weight loss tea. At Steeped and Infused at Adornments on Queen we have three great Pu-erhs: Old Pu-erh, Bold Leaf and our new Rose & Mint Pu-erh.
Raspberry Leaf: Raspberry leaf is known to have many health benefits to it due to its high content of vitamins, minerals, and tannins, particularly for expecting women. However, everyone can benefit from the anti-inflammatory and soothing properties of raspberry tea. It supports a healthy immune system, promotes improved circulation and contains an easily assimilated form of calcium. The tannins act as an astringent, reducing inflammation in the digestive organs. Raspberry leaf can also be used as a mouth wash to soothe mouth and throat irritations.
Sweet Dreams: Having trouble sleeping? Look no more! Sweet Dreams is a gentle and flavourful infusion of valerian root, passion flower, lemon balm leaves, peppermint, fennel, caraway, anise seed, rosehip peels, rosemary leaves and marigold blossoms. Drink 30-45 minutes before sleep.
Lapacho: South American Lapacho bark is great for colds, flus and any
build up of yeast in the body. It is antimicrobial, antifungal and antiviral. It can help fight off illness, infections and help reduce inflammation in the body, thus minimizing pain and the many other symptoms of inflammation in the body.
